Privacy
gta6.blog has no accounts, no login, and no advertising. There is nothing to sign in to and nothing is sold to anybody. This page describes the two things that do leave your browser.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits. This runs only on the live site, so browsing a local development copy records nothing. It sets Google's usual first-party cookies, reads the page URL, the page title, the referring site, and coarse details your browser sends anyway, such as approximate region and device type. It records four events: a page view, a newsletter signup, a click on a trailer poster, and the full-screen countdown button.
None of this identifies you by name, and no visitor-level data is exported or shared. If you would rather not be counted, any content blocker or tracker blocker will stop the script from loading, and the site is built to work normally when it is blocked.
The notify form
If you submit your email address, it is stored by the form provider that backs that form so an announcement email can be sent to you. It is used for that single purpose. It is not sold, rented, shared, or used to build a profile, and every message includes an unsubscribe link. Ask by contacting the site and the address will be deleted.
Embedded video
Trailer embeds do not load until you click them. Until that click, your browser makes no request to YouTube or Google at all, which is the reason the posters are click-to-load rather than live iframes. Once you click, the embed loads from youtube-nocookie.com and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to what happens inside that player.
Hosting
The site is served by Firebase App Hosting on Google Cloud. Like any web host, it processes request logs, which include IP addresses, as part of delivering pages and defending against abuse.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date at the top changes with it.
